CookingwithCricut.com "Adopt A Shelter Pet” Hop!

Welcome to WorkingScrappinMomof4 and the CookingWithCricut.com “Adopt A Shelter Pet” Hop!  October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, but we wanted to honor and celebrate all of our furry friends! If you've come from visiting Elizabeth at  http://ejoym.blogspot.com/, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to hop along with us, you can go to CookingWithCricut.com and start at the beginning.

For this blog hop (my first one EVER) I made a "doggie bag" (haha) to give to a four-legged pal of my sons bestfriend (we actually do not have any pets, maybe once my children are older and can help take care of one we will venture into pet ownership).

I cut the bag at fit to page from Art Philosophy (have I talked about how AMAZING this cartridge is?).  I then cut the brown square-4 also from Art Philosophy and added a cute doggie digital stamp from http://www.papercraftingworld.com/.  I hand cut it out after printing it on card stock and used a corner rounder on the edges.  I then lightly inked the edges and attached it to the square-4 cut.  I used a gold pen to add "stitching" to the brown square-4 frame.  After attaching it to the bag I decided to cut out some dog bones.  I used the Mickey Font cartridge for this cut.  I did 4 bones to attach to the handles at 1 1/4 inches.  I stamped the sentiment My Favorite Buddy from Pink by Design's October Stamp of the Month club set.  I also embossed the bones and lightly inked their edges.  I then cut, embossed and attached several smaller bones (3/4 inches) around the bag.  I bought a small dog bone to go in the bag.  I think Max will love it :)

Since this is my very FIRST blog hop ever I am offering up a prize seperate from the overall CookingwithCricut prize.  What can you win?????  Well, I just LOVE Pink by Design stamps.  I have used them a ton for Halloween goodies this year and as I mentioned above I used their October Stamp of the Month for the sentiment on my project today.  Sarah (PinkCricut) over at Pink by Design is being super generous by sponsoring my giveaway with the same stamp set I used for todays project as a prize to one lucky blogger!    Can you believe it?  They are awesome over there, great customer service and great products!

In order to be elgible for the giveaway you will need to leave a comment on this post by 11:59pm (EST) on Monday, October 24th.  I will randomly draw a winner and post that winner on Tuesday so be sure to check back and see if you WON!

Now it's your turn! Link up your purr-fectly wonderful pet-themed project at CookingWithCricut.com. Here are a few guidelines:
